In October, the Tablet newspaper sponsored four students from the English Martyrs' Catholic School in Leicester to come to Rome and participate in the events of the Synod of Bishops on Young People. As part of their time in Rome, they came to visit the work of the Anglican Centre, to speak with Archbishop Bernard Ntahoturi, the Director, and the Deputy Director, Justin Lewis-Anthony, and to ask about Anglican perspectives on ecumenism, the future of the church, and issues of social justice facing the world today. We had a stimulating time, and discussion. Their presence with us and their insights were greatly welcomed.
The Tablet earlier this month published a report on their visit, and the impressions that Andoncia, Karlonia, Kenji and Sam had of Rome and their time here. For more, visit www.thetablet.co.uk.
