Where We Are

The Anglican Centre in Rome  •  Palazzo Doria Pamphilj  •  Piazza del Collegio Romano 2, 00186 Roma, Italy

For fifty years the Anglican Centre has been privileged to be based in an apartment within the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. Being based within a palace with over 500 rooms means that we can be difficult to find. Follow the steps below to find us.

How to find us

1

Enter the palace on the square

Come to the main entrance on the square at No. 2. On most days until 18:00 the big doors will be open, revealing a small green gate inside. After 18:00 the doors will be closed. In either case you should be able to see our brass sign on the doors next to the intercom.

Ring007then press the bell

Someone will buzz the gate open. Continue through the green gate and turn right. You will see the main staircase — take it. If you need the lift, there is a small door immediately to the right of the staircase. Use the intercom there, pressing 007 and the bell sign again.

2

Past the gallery, through the glass door

The first floor has the Palazzo art gallery. Instead of going into the gallery, turn left and go up the short flight of stairs. You will see a glass door with an intercom next to it

and ring the bell again007Press

The door will be opened for you

3

Up the stairs to the Anglican Centre

Continue up the stairs until you reach the Anglican Centre in Rome. Look for our sign and the ACR logo on the large wooden double doors at the top.

⚠️ Accessibility: As in so many historic palaces in Rome, regrettably there is no wheelchair access to the Anglican Centre.
